Job Description – Software Engineer at Capgemini
- Analyze and resolve complex software engineering challenges using systematic and scientific approaches
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software in line with industry best practices and Capgemini’s engineering standards
- Apply independent thinking and sound judgment in making technical decisions
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and fellow engineers to deliver robust and scalable solutions
- Continuously enhance technical expertise and stay aligned with Capgemini’s engineering communities and standards
Required Skill Set:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: C, C#, Java, or Python
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), quality standards, and testing methodologies
- Solid knowledge of Web Application Testing
- SOAP and RESTful APIs
- Common Design Patterns
- Experience or basic knowledge of databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL, or MySQL
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
