Basic Qualifications & Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in an IT support or customer service role, with the ability to understand technical terminology and communicate it clearly to non-technical users.
- Quick adaptability to various operating systems, with a solid understanding of PC hardware, software issues, and common software incompatibilities.
- Strong critical thinking skills to identify and implement appropriate solutions.
- Ability to empathize with and prioritize the needs of internal customers.
- Proven commitment to quality and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Reliability in adhering to scheduled shifts and punctuality is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across different channels.
- Ability to simplify and clearly explain technical concepts to customers in a user-friendly manner.
- Experience in creating clear and concise trouble tickets that accurately document the issue and resolution.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical, step-by-step approach to troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Compliance & Timely Communication: Review written communications to ensure adherence to policy and timely dissemination of messages.
- Multichannel Customer Support: Research, review, and respond to customer inquiries via web chat, phone, email, and ticketing system, meeting team standards for response times.
- Accurate Call Logging: Create and submit detailed call logs documenting customer interactions, ensuring accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness.
- Customer Issue Resolution: Inform customers of necessary remedies and answer basic questions, providing effective solutions.
- SOP Adherence & Knowledge Management: Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) using the Knowledge management system, ensuring efficient issue resolution.
- Policy Knowledge & Communication: Stay up-to-date on relevant company policies to facilitate effective communication and issue resolution.
- Flexible Scheduling: Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet customer needs.
